One time on a field trip in grade school, we played “Who Stole The Cookie From The Cookie Jar?” The game went on for an uncomfortable amount of time so when it was finally my turn, I decided to end the fun and confessed that I did indeed steal the cookie from the cookie jar.
As Geoff walked toward the break room at Caterpillar, he realized he left his coffee mug at his desk. Quickly, he turned his body toward his desk, but his haste was squelched by the smile of a young Cuban girl.
“Oh…Hi,” he said.
She smiled and walked past him toward the break room. Geoff, knowing that his mug was on still on his desk, turned once again and headed towards the break room.
Some would say that was the beginning of their romance while others would say it was when he taught her how to drive a truck or when he took her to her first corn maze. Regardless, this unlikely union between a simple Chinese man and beautiful Cuban woman was where it all began for Yuniesky Ng, the next international pop sensation.

I find it funny how some of the search engine terms are sometimes my friend’s names and that means someone’s stalking them…
Anyways, I’m really surprised that I made it to the one year mark. Most blogs I’ve started in the past have been abandoned like Scott Skiles on Christmas day. I hope this year will be better than the last and maybe I’ll include some more serious reflections or something in the midst of all the other stuff. Cool beans.
