The future is here pt.I
This is really cool, the possibilities are cooler, but makes the future a scary place.

One thing that I started doing in high school was buying CDs and trying to stay legit with music. Some pro’s to buying the albums are 1) you get to have the actual disc 2) you get the album booklet 3) you can rip it all you want 4) you know you’re legit 5) you sometimes get album goodies.
But these days, iTunes has certainly changed the way that I get music. The music is cheaper, but you don’t get the goodies and besides, a download just isn’t the same as owning the real thing. But once again, it’s cheaper. Even though I use a mac, I don’t really enjoy supporting the giant apple.
Anyways, the only reason I’m on iTunes again is because Coldplay is coming out with a new album in June and are coming to Chicago in August. Anyone wanna go? C’mon c’mon. Tickets on sale in Juuuune.
I read an interesting article off ESPN today during my doctor’s visit. It’s about how Dwayne Wade bought a church for his mother. While I was sitting on the doctor’s table, I was getting blessed. Click here to read the full article, but here’s an excerpt/quote of D.Wade’s older brother:
My mother is a miracle to me and to our family, to see from where she came to where she’s at now,” said Tragil Wade, who at 30 is only four years older than the brother she has looked over for virtually his entire life. “I can’t even describe it. It’s like, if you didn’t believe in God, this right here would make the belief strong.
God is always working. Check the article out.
It’s about an hour and a half before my graduation ceremony begins. Just wanted to fit a post in (and not neglect my faithful readers. Yes, all 2 of you). How can I summarize the past four years? I think C.S. Lewis can better job than I:
“Welcome, child,” he said.
“Aslan,” said Lucy, “you’re bigger.”
“That is because you are older, little one,” answered he.
“Not because you are?”
“I am not. But every year you grow, you will find me bigger.”
